It should be ideal to use SHS or SLA or SLS rapid prototyping method for this egg container. I used a "blueprinter" machine with nylon powder and we had impressive results. Inner flaps with thickness of 1mm could be folded and touch the egg in order to depreciate vibrations of falling.
