Seed Starting Soil Press Set

The Seed Starting Soil Presses in this design are used to help in planting seeds in multi-cell seed starting trays. The three sizes of presses in this set cover many of the tray sizes commonly used in seed starting. The presses will make a 7mm (approximately 1/4 inch) deep furrow in the soil. A seed dibble is included in the set if you would like to make a deeper furrow.
To use the seed press, fill the trays with seed starting mix. Lightly press the soil in each tray cell with the bottom of the soil press to level the soil and create a furrow. Place the seed in the furrows and cover to the desired depth with soil. Gently press the soil in each tray with the top of the soil press to firm the soil around the seed.

Printing:
I printed this design on a Creality Ender-3 V3 KE using generic PLA filament and the default 0.20mm Standard settings in Creality Print 6.0. I designed the soil presses as two parts that screw together so that no supports are necessary.
