The internet archive lets you borrow archived copies of FRETS magazine. I found the issue where they talk about making Pete Seeger's banjo bridge. I thought I would try to imitate it with a 3D printer.

This version is different than the one that you can find already. I made this into 2 separate pieces. I wanted to imitate the original as much as possible and also it being 2 pieces lets you orient the objects for the ideal print.

You WILL need to carve the tabs that go into the bridge. I left it like this so it's possible to get the tightest fit possible. Once the tabs fit through you can heat the tabs up and press them against something flat and secure the feat into place. I put super glue where the feet meet the bridge but I don't think that is really necessary.

I have not tested this yet. I do want to but haven't had the time to install it. I also did not add string slots. You will need to cut them yourself.
