I created this version because the adapters I found sit too deep inside the shell, preventing the USB cable head from fitting through the hole. In this model, the female USB-C sits flush with the shell, so there are no issues with any cable. The printed part replaces the original PCB. I glued the connector to the printed part using a bit of hot glue. It might not be the best connector for this mod, but it was the one I had at home from other projects. With a layer height of 0.16 and the supports set as I uploaded in the profile, I don't have any tolerance issues with PLA Basic. I cannot increase the tolerance in X because it’s already at the limit of the housing's hole diameter.
