This is a simple two-part self watering planter.
Insert a length of 1/4 inch cotton/nylon rope into the two holes in the bottom of the pot to create a loop. (The rope should be long enough to supply moisture to the soil just below the existing roots of the plant, and stick out of the bottom at least 2 inches into the base piece.)
Fill the planter with soil and add a succulent.
Waterproof the inside of the base with a piece of cling-film, and fill with water.
Set the planter onto the base and enjoy!
(Refill the water in the base every week or 2 by using the spout on the back.)
