Serenity Display Stand

A display stand specifically designed to complement "Firefly Serenity 03-K64-FIREFLY" by Jangomatt (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2590969).

After printing and constructing the model I decided I didn't want to use the optionally provided landing gear but I also didn't want the finished model to have to stand directly on a display surface.

I designed this stand based on the 100% scale printed version of the model, so if you are printing at a different scale you'll need to match that scale for the stand.

Based on my print of the model I found the centre of gravity to be at the back of the main hull. However, if you print at differing infill values you may find your models' centre of gravity is different.

I find the model fits the stand well and is stable when the back edge of the stand is touching, what I believe are, the navigation lights are the rear of the hull.
