I'm making a dry box for the filament so I needed a serious spool holder. Probably this spool holder is not for everyone, but I wanted it to be wall to wall in the dry box. I'm making it for 4 spools so it can be printed and connected for as many spools as needed. It can be lifted with one hand while with 1kg spool on it without any problems. Spool does not wabble and the holder do not flex. 608ZZ or 608RS bearings are needed. 4pcs per spool holder. Other parts are printable. Printed with PETG. You can apply glue on connections if needed, but tolerances are quite tight, some connections needs force to join them. Should support most 1kg spools. For one spool holder you can print part 1 and 2, 2 times OR part 1,2,7,8 clean. 2 side and bottom connections and 2 cylinders. For dual spool holder print parts 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7(or 1), 8(or 2). part 9 x4, part 10, 11 x4. For triple spool holder print parts 1, 2, 3x2, 4x2, 5x2, 6x2, 7,8. part 9 x6, part 10, 11 x6. and so on… Print settings for parts 1-8, , 10-11 :0.24 layers.10% infill.2 walls3 top and bottom layersTop and bottom surface pattern: rectilinearSupports are needed for parts 3.4.5.6. Clean parts print on their backs.Print settings for part 9: 0.24 layers10% infill3 walls3 top/bottom layersTop and bottom surface pattern: concentric Normal auto supports on build plate only.I also tried to print this part with fuzzy skin. Only a little bit for rougher surface.Scarf joint seam was enabled with contour and hole option selected. With this option enabled I haven't seen any seams even with fuzzy skin off.Staggered inner seams might also need to be enabled. I've deleted the profile I was printing with, so I'm not sure.
