I saw some similar models and printed a few of them to try out. I liked the idea, but they were either too big or they were designed in such a way to have funky overhangs\supports, or they stuck out too far from the bag and I felt like they would break off if my bag slammed into something. I tried to design something from scratch in a sort of middle ground. I made both sides of the model angled so that they would be less likely to catch on anything. I made the space underneath the overhang open so you can add supports there (Included is a version with custom supports designed by me, (see plate 2). This gap also makes it easier to stick a larger string or rope through the opening. If you use PLA please keep in mind these will probably not survive the dryer unless your use ABS or ASA. They're easy to sew and do not really require much skill to sew on. I used dental floss as thread and that turned out in my testing to be more than strong enough. Stay tuned.
