ShakinHeads are easy to use / have fun with. Just hold the body part then tap them down onto a solid surface, hold them down and don't let go. This makes them 'bobble' best... if you let go much of the energy is lost into the body through vibration so they don't 'bobble as well or for as long. The body part is important as it provides a holding mechanism independent of the internal spring but also limits the sideways spring movement minimizing the chance of breaking them (...because PLA is very
