I was looking for a way to mount mechanical switches on the Z axis of my Shapeoko 2 and realized it might be nice to have a generic mount that could be mounted using a t-nut on any makerslide - z axis or otherwise.
This is that attempt. I should say I'm not entirely thrilled with this design, but I thought I would upload it in case it helps someone else. One change I think I might make if I do move forward with switches like this is some sort of tab going down from the switch mount into the makerslide itself to lock the mount in place and not allow it to twist.
I used a m3 12mm bolt to attach this to the makerslide via a insertion nut (or t-nut).
