Sharp VZ2000 Power Button and Bracket

This is a replacement power button and supporting bracket for the Sharp VZ-2000 ghettoblaster.

Mine had the original power switch inside, but the fancy chrome cantilevered external switch and its lever arm were broken off, missing.

This is a simple supporting bracket and button.

Both can easily be scaled X Y to fit the hole as loosely or tightly as you desire. .25mm is about all it needs. If I was bothered I might have supported the button a little more on the Left and Right.

Mr Color silver acrylic paint is a fairly close match. I dont mind the 3d printed texture so left it. Clear acrylic top coat has protected the paint fairly well.

Theres a recess for a cheap little 240v-capable push button switch. Superglued in, and wired in parallel to the interior switch. YMMV, be sure you use yours safely, thats your responsibility.

This isn't particularly good work but if it helps keeps even one these lovely Sharp's working, all the better!
