Sheet Music Stand

This project introduces a lightweight and modular fully 3D-printed music stand. I struggled to find designs online for music stands, and the ones I did find weren’t very portable and required a lot of filament—so I decided to make my own. After months of iterating and improving the printability, durability, and rigidity of various parts of the stand, this is a result I’m finally satisfied enough with to publish. The primary goal of this project is to offer a 3D-printed stand that takes advantage of all the benefits of 3D printing—especially the potential for modularity, but also the relative light weight of PLA. The modularity means you can customize the height and potentially design variations of parts like the head for wider or taller versions.
