Some time ago, I realized how often I needed quick access to mugs and how often I ran out of places to put drying mugs. I rent and didn't want to damage the shelving by drilling holes. Mounting tape is a temporary solution for heavy items, so I tried designing something more substantial that I could remove and reposition as needed. These shelf hooks were the result. They are simple, but I've used them for years without issue. Hang mugs, small pots, pans, tools, and anything with a loop or handle. I have printed them on an FDM and Resin printer. Both work great, but resin is more brittle, so be careful that resin printed clips don't crack when attaching it to a shelf..Simply print as many hooks a you need and a clip for each hook. Then thread the hook through the hole in the clip bottom, so that the hook hangs down, with the top nestled in the circular recess. This allows the hooks to hang and pivot..Then simply slide the clip onto the front of a shelf. The Shelf Clip should fit most standard shelves of 15 to 18mm thickness. The ends are tapered to make it grasp the shelf end. It has been designed to be thin enough to sit just behind the door of a shelf with doors. It can be scaled in the slicer a bit, if necessary.
