Shibata coupler

This is my attempt at designing a Shibata coupler origionally designed to connect Japanese Trains together. I first saw this design through this video:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tbDO-fo1hic and have since started designing it from the ground up. Currently, assembly requires two small rubber bands for the rotating mechanism.


UPDATE 2
To attach the cover, you need 4 M2 thread inserts and screws. The design will work with some issues without the cover.
