Shigue groupings of Warstriders are referred to by the Hegemon as ‘kines.’ Kines are made up primarily of Warstriders, fully adult males, but they are often accompanied by yearlings or ‘Gax’var’ in the Shigue language that operate as technicians and specialists. All are guided by the largest males called Longhorns who’s guidance is followed with such dedication as to appear instinctual, Kines do not hesitate in their duty to the Migration.
