Shining 3D Elf Cradle

This is a remix of Lucio’s cradle. The design uses less material and makes the scanner easier to remove from the holder. I also modified the cradle to accept a rear mounting plate. This plate makes installation much easier and spaces the holder slightly away from the mounting surface, which improves accessibility and allows the scanner to be removed more easily. The plate can also be used to mount the cradle to other objects, such as a cart basket, by placing the plate on the opposite side of the surface you are mounting to. For the mounting plate, I used heat-set threaded inserts. These are installed in the two center holes of the plate.
