shock absorber emulator

A friend of mine asked me to design the shock absorber emulator for his Honda Africa twin motorcycle, so here it is. I am having a problem when trying to render it. Keyshot just seems not to recognize the compression spring the way it should. If someone else has a solution, please help out :)
