I own a SHOEI GT AIR II motorcycle helmet ( I love this helmet ), and was frustrated with not being able to easily mount other communication devices due to the SRL2 mounting points take up room on the helmet rim.
I decided to see if I could use the SRL2 mounting point to my advantage. I created essentially replacement covers for the SRL2 mounting points, then built a 'plate' that can be used for other devices to attach to.
I have provided both the covers ( Can be used to generate your own mounting surface ), and the mounting plate version I'm currently using for my Cardo.
This also works with the NEOTEC II ( my riding partners helmet ).
Update(s):
SHOEI SRL2 Plate Left: updated part to have a curved plate. The Cardo helmet mount, and Cardo Base plate have a slight curve to the base. This change gives a better fit for the glued surface.
SHOEI SRL2 Rear Base Plate: This part is a replacement cover for the rear battery compartment.
SHOEI SRL2 Rear Open Plate: This pa
