Shopsmith Planer Dust Chute

This is my version of a dust chute for a Shopsmith planer. It is different from OEM version in that it mounts to the shroud rather than clicking in place like the factory version. There is only one slight modification that needs to be done to the shroud. Shopsmith actually has a bolt hole pattern already in place. But they are not a through hole. You can very easily drill through those to make clearance to mount the chute I have designed. YOU ONLY USE TWO BOLTS. The top most hole is just clearance for the screw that holds the logo plate in place for storage. I use 8/32 helicoils, but as it works out, if you don't have helicoils you can use a normal 8/32 countersunk bolt and a nylock nut as the size hole to prepare for the helicoil allows an 8/32 bolt to pass through. When in use the logo covering the hole flips down to put the vacuum hose in position. I use a knobbed 8/32 but the regular phillips head screw that is already on the unit will work.
