Shore crab

You are standing face to face with Carcinus maenas, a shorecrab common in the Northern hemisphere. Being one of my first experimental subjects during my PhD, this intriguing species inspired me to start my first serious big model. Hopefully, their fierce nature is captured in the model as they do not shy away from a hurtful pinch.
