Shower Drain Cup Trap

This is a simple shower drain cup or insert designed to replace the original McAlpine type of dimensions 69mm diameter wide at the throat, 66.15mm diameter by 63mm high, common in the UK in newer build housing.
This is designed to trap longer hair whilst maintaining high flow, to prevent drain blockage. A direct replacement, no modifications required.

The Catch_2000 file has full length filter holes but may cause bad smells in some showers due to it not holding water in the base to create a water trap. If you get smells the 4000 is the better model for your shower and is easier to slice/print because the 4000 also has straight sides and has removed the curved base to make printing and slicing simpler.
