Side Cutter Holder

I got tired of always having my side cutters out with the sharp end exposed. There are other cases available, but they either don't cover the sharp end, use way too much material, or would require support to print cleanly.

This cutter cover uses minimal material and is flexible enough (even in PLA) to hold the side cutters securely and safely. Unlike some other covers this requires no support to print.

*UPDATE* - Added an optional cap in case you're tossing this in a bag to secure the tool. Definitely not needed if it's just going to sit on a workbench, but nice to have if it's going to be rattling around with other tools. The cap has a forgiving tolerance which works with the spring of the tool to provide enough friction, but you may want to size up or down 0.5% depending on your specific printer's accuracy.
