Hey kids, it's super awesome learning time!
I found another use for the Rattle Wand Thing- Ditch the rings and it becomes a sight word wand! Students practice reading sight words (a.k.a. high-frequency words), numbers, letters, or any other relevant target skill thanks to this nifty little cylinder of PLA. The teacher simply calls out a word, number, or letter and students use their super cool wands to point to them.
Just print out a set of wands and the included pages (or make your own) and you've got an activity for centers ready in no time at all!
