This mask is a tool for people to keep quiet and hide from the rest when they want to. As a part of this world, communication is essential, especially as a student in art school, apart from making art projects, communication is everything in this education system. However, there is always moments that you do not want to speak or because of your personality, you do not tend to speak in front of the whole class yet was forced to during critique. On one hand, this mask is a choice that you did to prevent from being forced speaking, on the other hand, it is also forcing you to keep quiet as you have to bite it to hold the mask. Therefore, in a larger scale, this mask can also be viewed as a protesting tool refusing the forced communication.
