Silica Dry Box for Spools

Keeping filament dry is essential for optimal 3D printing. While traditional containers fit inside the spool’s center, they’re not ideal for use with vacuum bags, as they can seal off airflow and give inaccurate humidity readings. This custom-designed silica box sits directly on the filament, effectively lowering the surrounding humidity. A humidity sensor can be placed next to the silica for accurate readings. The box holds approximately 20 grams of silica, perfect for a single spool.
