Silica Scoop with Spring-loaded Dump

UPDATES: 7/7/25 - Updated profiles and models to make for easier printing. It now should only need supports in 1 spot and off the build plate only. The thumb levers fit has also been slightly modified so it's less difficult to install. I tested the A1 Mini profile and adjusted support placement for a cleaner print. I end up drying a lot if desiccant and filling back up all the little containers. And I have to have a funnel for each one and carefully fill the containers up. So I was looking for a silica scoop that had like a trigger to dump it into the container and I couldn't find one. So I decided to make one. Everything on this is fully 3d printed with the exception of the magnets. The magnets to attach the funnel are the standard 4x2 magnets found in the beginner kit, maker kit, and CyberBrick kits. The magnets can be omitted and the funnel can be glued on if you'd rather have it permanently attached, however the magnets make a good way to store it. I have tested this print with PLA
