I needed some brackets to hold up some runners in my new workshop cabinet. So I thought, why buy when I can 3D print?
I made the bracket a bit of a feature on the cabinet by printing them largish and in red. I'm happy with how it came out.
The bracket is 32mm by 32mm and uses 4G screws to attach.
Included are left and a right jigs for drilling the holes in the carcass and the shelves.
The idea with the jig is that it's designed for 18mm panels. You line up the top of the reference edge where you want your shelf top, and then drill the holes which are offset from the top and side by 18mm. The horizontal lines in the jig photo show the top of shelf height and the vertical lines show the front of bracket (or shelf). Don't worry, I didn't dill that one in the photo as the Jig wasn't being held square.
