This is a simple buzzer device for use with the repeatable CNC origin fixture here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:7301429
It requires the following materials:
- 9V Battery
- 9V Battery Connector (https://a.co/d/0dfPKkh2)
- 220 ohm resistor (to reduce the output voltage of the battery)
- 5V Buzzer Component (https://a.co/d/08kOc1PC)
- (Optional) 2-pin JST connector (https://a.co/d/02yQOolS)
- (Optional) CNC Z-Probe (https://a.co/d/0faWaeou)
This can be used for any application where all you are sensing is connectivity. You could simply use a multimeter on the connectivity setting to approximate this function. I just wanted a standalone device.
**Areas for improvement**: would be nice in a future iteration to include a switch to turn it on or off, and an LED to light up when connection happens. And maybe the switch could switch between Off, Buzzer + Light, or Light Only.
