This is a small hook that I designed with easily controlling cables in mind; specifically, the cables that ran up to my television. While already bundled up with zip ties, the cables needed some guidance to reach their destination in a manner that didn't look haphazard. The hook was made with the intention of attaching to the wall using Command brand strips by 3M.
The hook worked pretty well for a little while, but soon a problem arose. I suspect that the Command hanging strips have some component that exists on the proprietary hook itself to adhere to the strip better, as when I tried to angle the television on its bracket differently, the whole thing ripped off of the wall and broke. Thus it is evident that this device will work well for cable management, provided you are working with fairly static cables (e.g. Those behind a desk)
One advantage of 3dprinting the hook that may not be obvious in the picture is the fact that you can choose a color that blends in with the wall. D
