Simple Chessboard (Magnetic)

This is a simple yet elegant 3D-printed chessboard designed with a modern, floating look. The board features 64 recessed slots for 5×3 mm magnets, allowing your pieces to snap satisfyingly into place. If you prefer a traditional setup, you can simply skip adding the magnets.For my build, I paired the board with this set of platformer-style chess pieces, which complement the design beautifully.A few build notes:I added stick-on rubber feet underneath to prevent sliding.A smooth build plate with a bit of glitter gave the top surface a clean and eye-catching finish.Whether you’re after a sleek, display-worthy set or a fun project with magnetic playability, this chessboard makes for a versatile base. To insert the magnets, add a pause on layer 26 by right clicking the layer slider on the right of the preview window. Make sure all the magnets are facing the same way to ensure that the chess pieces can be place everywhere
