Simple Desk Organizer

This desk organizer has five hexagonal slots to fit writing utensils and two rectangle boxes (one in the back and one in the front) that fit other items like scissors and markers. There is a drawer that can fit smaller items like erasers. There is also a 3" x 3" shallow box where you can put sticky notes.The three hexagonal holders in the front are also a good place to prop up your phone or other device. One of the challenges I faced was how to create the drawer so it won't slide all the way out. To solve this problem, I looked at some real drawers and came up with a solution. If I could redesign this design, I would add a place to put papers, folders, and composition books. 3D printing would help strengthen my design because if I 3D printed my design out, I would be able to clearly see what mistakes I made and then fix them. Unfortunately, I don't have a 3D printer.
