Simple Jaguar The Jaguar is a large wild cat native to the Americas. It has a strong, muscular body, yellow-gold fur covered with black rosette spots, and a very powerful bite. Jaguars live mainly in forests and wetlands, especially in Amazon Rainforest. They are excellent swimmers and hunters, feeding on animals like deer, fish, and capybaras.
