Simple Mousetrap Car

Wanna impress your high school physics class? Heres a simple mousetrap car base with a good balance between acceleration and distance. Works with those simple Victor mousetraps and possibly other brands. It worked very well for me in high school (I won ;) ) and I hope it does for you as well. Unfortunately I don't have the car anymore so sorry for the horrible pictures. (I am also not a professional (yet) lol).

Note: I made this when I was like 16 and finally decided to publish. My point is, there are probably errors :)

I do NOT approve of you using this for a class if it goes against your classroom rules. If you're not sure, talk to your instructor. I will also not be providing any of the math I used for this.

Anyway, to build this you will also need:
- a mousetrap (duh)
- zip ties
- fishing line (or any other small diameter string/thread)
- some sort of glue (I used hot glue)
- wide rubber bands (like those ones on asparagus)
