A simple tool to remove prints from the printer build plate
I use IRWIN utility blades. They are .025 inch thick (.635mm)
The .STL files have a gap with tabs to fit the notches on the blade.
There are 3 gap sizes. .60, .65, & .70mm
If it is too loose just insert a piece of paper or cardstock to tighten it up.
2 types. short(PRT1) & long(PRT2). I mostly use the short one.
I have been using this for months. I thought it was finally time to share.
I also made blade covers, but I usually dont use them.
There is also a "ribbed" version of all 3 sizes & 2 types. Over time, the end pieces tend to splay out, requiring more & more paper inserts to tighten it up. Eventually becoming unusable. I added re-inforcing ribs to hopefully slow down this process. It still prints with no support.
.3mm layers
100% infill
no support
BRIM may be needed (or maybe not)
designed in Tinkercad
