I wanted a simple solar finder that could print without supports and work on any scope. It has a thin window on the back to make seeing the sun projection possible from the back or front. The base is flat with recesses for magnets. The base is also flat so you could use tape, velcro, bungie, etc to strap to a telescope (necessary if the scope tube is non-ferrous). The STL included is set for magnets that are a bit smaller than 20mm in diameter and 2mm tall. WARNING: Never look at the sun through a telescope without proper solar filter. And always ALWAYS check your solar filter for holes, tears, etc before use!!!! HOW TO USE:Install solar filter on telescope.Install solar finder with small hole pointed towards the objective end (i.e. towards the sun).Rough alignment: Move telescope until light from the small hole is projected on the "window" at the back of the finder.Use eyepiece to center sun in optics.Fine alignment: Move the solar finder on the telescope until the projection
