Simple yet smooth

This hinge is a simple design and looks normal at first glance. But, upon a closer look you'll notice it uses a spherical connector that will reduce friction and ideal allow for a smoother motion due to the better more even weight distribution. Forgive my lack of terminology and failure to include tolerance/ room for error in my design (I'm studying engineering in high school). Anyways, though this has no ground breaking innovations or extreme applications, I think it would be a nice improvement to the everyday door, shelf, or lid.
