I know there are various other designs already for the Simplisafe indoor camera mount, but I wanted the challenge of creating my own.
This design does not need and supports and there are two versions of the wall plate. One with has two screw holes and the second one is for using "3M COMMAND 17021P Medium Refill Strips" times three.
I have been using this camera mount for over a year now and fingers crossed it has not fallen off the wall.
There are also two lengths of arm. I have only tested the short arm, the long arm will put more force on the Command strips. Also the short arm, gives quite a range of camera positions. If I was using the log arm I think I would use the plate with the holes.
You will require 2 x M3 x 30mm pan head screws and nuts.
I printed in white PETG but I am sure it will work in PLA
Please share any makes and any constructive comments would be welcome.
