I designed this active brake pedal to work alongside my existing 3D-printed accelerator and clutch pedals which are a variation on Lebois Racing SRT pedals. I had been using the Lebois hydraulic brake pedal for several years, but found that it had started to leak and was no longer consistent. Not wanting to have a long base like the Simucube commercial brake pedal, I designed this DIY version to work through a slot cut into a wooden base board so that the motor could be hidden underneath without getting in the way. For my purposes, it is mounted onto a motion platform.
