This is a 3D Printed Sine Wave Synchrotron that I designed and printed on my Bambu Lab X1 Carbon with the holographic build plate for the texture. It works by using a captive cam mechanism. I would like to make some motorized versions and possible a clock with three stages. One stage for seconds, one for minutes and one for hours. A synchrotron is a type of particle accelerator so I thought the name was fitting. Assembly is a bit difficult because the magnet receivers want to connect to each other. I had to use a steel plate on the back side so the magnets would stay in place before popping on the rotor. You may be able to use magnets or some other way to keep them in place prior to assembling the rotor. Bill of materials are listed in the youtube video description and pinned comment.
