Old sewing machines are operated by a leather belt connecting
the pulleys between the machine and the pedal.
Before, I had to pierce the ends and join them with a metal wire.
Sometimes the ends break, and you have to join them again until the belt is to short.
With this simple tool and a 20mm chisel, you can make an invisible seam in the belt.
Cut the belt small cuts at a time, until you reach the correct tension in the belt,
and it doesn't slip in the pulleys.
Glue with superglue for a more durable, handsome and silent join!
It has a hole for a 3mm bolt on the underside to prevent the belt from slipping,
and a lip to hold in a vise for safer cutting!
