The single track standards and brackets shelving systems (like Rubbermaid) are convenient and inexpensive compared to the twin-tracks and other adjustable shelving solutions.
The problem is that they are very wobbly until you place a shelf on them. Even then, they tend to sway about. If you use shelves that overhang the front of the brackets, they can tip forward and lift the rear of the shelf. This makes for uncomfortably unstable shelving.
These anchors are designed to fit under the shelf to hold the bracket to the shelf. This prevents the shelf from lifting off of the bracket, and reduces the left-to-right swaying of the brackets.
The Rubbermaid brackets I made these for have about a 3.3 degree taper to them. These anchors account for that to maximize contact with the bracket.
The height of the bracket increases as you move towards the wall, so you require different size anchors depending on where you wish to position it. I have included 18mm, 22mm, 24mm, 26mm, and
