Sink Drain Washer

I recently purchased a new sink drain, and during installation realized that there was a washer missing that goes between nut and rubber gasket. The purpose of this washer is to eliminate torque on the gasket while tightening nut, which would cause leaks. These washers are not available at box stores like Lowe's and Home Depot.
