If you're located somewhere in the northern parts of The Netherlands your kids are probably participating in the (much lamer) Dutch version of Halloween called Sint-Maarten.
Since most of the lantern carrying rods are absolutely pathetic in quality I simply purchased a cheap 9.5mm wooden stick and designed a lantern adapter around it.
It works pretty darn well when combined with a bicycle light secured at the end alongside the lantern. I've designed the hook to also prevent the lantern from dislocating from the rod like it does every dang time during the evening treat hunt.
There's three files that allow for two design preferences, you can either have a rounded plastic top or have the open design with the end of the wooden rod visible (see pictures).
It should print pretty easily as the hook and the adapter are split into separate files and mostly lay flat. The adapter however does need a little support for the tiny bellybutton hole. I recommend setting a support-blocker o
