Update: 04.10.2022
I've changed the brackets. I removed to screw holes under the ruber area and moved the other two further away from the edges. I also added two stopper plates with some ridges to hold the rubber in place.
The idea was to create a wall mount for skis. I saw some similar mounts at a local sports store. The skis are clamped in between the two clamps which are pulled down by the weight of the skis.
The design consists of a base plate with for mounting holes to attach to a wall and the clamping mechanism.
The "axles" of the mechanism needs 2 bolts with a hexagonal head (M8/80), 2 washers (M8) and to nuts (M8)
Assembly is almost self-explanatory:
Plate, bolts, bushings, sliders (pin facing backwards), brackets (teeth locking with the sliders), washers, nuts.
I used a silicone lid as a stick surface on the brackets. But you could also use an old bicycle tire or tube. Any sticky rubber would do.
