Skyward 150 Telescope

A sturdy DIY telescope you can use visually or mount your smartphone on. It comes complete with a tripod that uses ABS plumbing pipe you can find at your local hardware store. It has a counterbalancing system that uses spent D cells and AA cells so that you can still get that steady and smooth movements with camera attachments. It does use a metal focuser to make for a pleasant experience at the eyepiece. You can purchase a spherical mirror if you are more budget conscious or a parabolic if you want the ultimate in contrast.

This is a 6 inch f5 newtonian style design also known as F150D750 to indicate the metric diameter and focal length in mm. We have worked with Arcturus on AliExpress to create a kit for all the optical components:

We've built a few of these to prove the design- you can see several of them on the Discord. You'll need about 5kg of ABS filament and you need a 300 x 300 x 300 printer to do the larg
