WARNING: I HAVE NOT YET TESTED THESE FOR ASTROPHOTOGRAPHY AS OF NOW DUE TO WEATHER, THESE MAY CAUSE VIGNETTING OR OTHER PROBLEMS HOWEVER IT SHOULD BE OKAY
i personally printed in PLA but PETG or ABS will be better as they will be more resistant to being outside
recommended to print in black pla or paint it matte black to reduce the risk of reflections
there is a little gap in the baffle for where the 2 sides of the tube meet
this is designed for the 130pds but may work on other scopes
also as of now there is no way to ensure they are straight i am working on a v2 that should fix that
INSTALLATION:
remove the primary mirror and the baffle should slide right in depending on your 3d printers tollarence you may need to scale it down by ~1-5%
they should just slide in and work as that but you can use tape or glue to make sure they dont move
3–5 baffles total
~80–120 mm apart
First baffle just above the primary mirror
Last baffle just before the focuser area
