Skywatcher CQ350 Base Locking Slip on 6mm Screw Knobs

I created custom-fit screw knob caps designed to slip over the 6mm locking screws on the base mount. Installation is simple: first, thread the 6mm OEM screw into the mount. Then place the cap over the screw and begin turning it while applying light pressure. Once the internal 6mm stem aligns with the OEM screw head, continue pressing the cap down until it seats securely with a clean press-fit finish. See the images for reference.

These were printed on a Bambu Lab Bambu Lab P1S using neon green ASA filament with 35% infill for added strength. Cooling fans were turned off during printing. Average print time was approximately 33 minutes per knob. I’ll also include screenshots of my P1S print settings.
