Skywatcher EQ6 RaspberryPi mount

UPDATE 18th of Feb 2021:
if using the new version with the enlarged platform AND the USB HUB only 3 screws can be used to attach the platform to the mount! However no prolem with this.

When using a RPi with an astronomical mount there can be a lot of cable spaghetti around the moving parts. Therefor I designed this platform attached to a Skywatcher EQ6R Pro.
Since I did not have a EQ6, EQ6R or any other type of EQ6 I do not know if it will fit to these mounts. To fix the platform I used 4 of the 6 screws where the access to the gear can be opened via the two covers.

You need 3 new screws M3 x 25mm and 1 M3 x 10mm. Additional you will need 4 screws M3 x 10mm for the Rpi 4 case as well as 2 screws M3 x 10mm or 16mm for the “auxillary platform”. Here I mounted a GPS receiver. Also 4 M3 x 6mm thread inserts as well as 2 M3 x 4mm thread inserts are ne
