Slide Camera/Digitizer Box

Designed this to digitize some slides that my grandma had from the mid-60's. Quick and dirty, is going to take a bit of cropping to fit right. Comparing photo quality to some of the slide scanners/cameras that are for sale on Amazon, turns out better even after post processing them.

This design fits the cob light you can get from Harbor Freight, usually for free after purchase of another item. Used a sticker backing sheet (from an Apple product sticker) folded over a couple times to diffuse the light. White balanced the camera to it, and started snapping slides. (Will post some examples later). Also, the hole at top allows the protection ring around the point and shoot to fit into it to line camera up with side and prevent sliding. Rubber bands can be used to hold camera in place.
