Sliding mass holder

This sliding mass holder is designed for use with Pasco's Rotating Platform (ME-8951). It holds masses from Pasco's Mass and Hanger Set (ME-8979). Each one needs two 1/4-inch long 8-32 bolts and two washers.

Two of these can be used to perform a conservation of angular momentum experiment. The two mass holders are initially connected by a thread. The thread is burned while the beam is rotating, they slide outward, and the angular speed decreases.
